Privacy policy
Holiday Widget, a browser extension for Chrome. Updated 3 October 2026.
In short. The extension collects no personal data and shares nothing with third parties. Holidays, clients and settings stay in your browser. The only request that leaves your computer is the licence key check, and only if you enter a key.
Who processes the data

What is stored, and where
Everything is stored locally by the browser, in chrome.storage:
- settings: enabled calendars, language, theme, notification options;
- your dates and client cards: name, birthday, birth year (if you entered one), profession, name day, contact method, note, tags, and whether you have already sent a greeting;
- your greeting templates, signature and card logo.
When you import contacts from your phone (.vcf) or a spreadsheet (CSV), the file is read right in the browser and sent nowhere. Only contacts with a birthday are taken from it.
If Google sync is enabled in your browser, this data is synchronised between your own devices by the browser itself. It is not passed to the developer.
What goes over the network
The only network request is the licence key check against api.shashevpro.ru. It
runs only when you enter a key or press “Re-check licence”. It sends the key itself, a random
install identifier, and the product name and version.
The contents of your entries, the addresses of sites you visit and any personal data are never sent. The free version makes no network requests at all.
Payment
Payments are handled by YooKassa. Card details are entered on their side and are not available to the developer. Your email address is used to send the receipt required by Russian law and the activation key: it is passed to YooKassa and deleted from our database as soon as the key has been sent.
The licence server stores the issued key, the payment number and random identifiers of the installations where the key was activated. This data cannot identify a person.
Permissions
- storage — keeping your settings and entries;
- alarms — refreshing the badge counter and running reminders on schedule;
- notifications — the holiday and birthday reminders;
- access to api.shashevpro.ru — the licence key check.
The extension does not request access to the content of web pages and does not read them.
Analytics and advertising
The extension contains no counters, trackers or advertising. Neither does this page: it loads no external scripts, fonts or images.
Children
The extension is not intended for children under 13 and does not collect their data.
Deleting your data
Removing the extension deletes all local data. You can save a backup first: settings → My dates → Export to file.
To have your licence record removed from the server, write to support quoting your payment number. After removal the key will no longer activate on new devices.

The current version of this policy always lives at this address. The date of the last update is shown at the top.
